Nicole graduated from the Langara Registered Massage Therapy Program in 2022 and is happy to join the wonderful team at Jointworks. After more than 15 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist, she loves helping people feel better. Her treatment style is firm but gentle and supportive. With experience in the dental profession, plus a passion for healthy, active living, Nicole’s therapeutic interests include treating pregnant and postnatal patients, those with athletic injuries, chronic systemic health conditions, post-exercise soreness, stress/overwhelm, and TMJ pain or disfunction. She treats TMJ muscles both outside and inside of the mouth ; the external muscles of the face, jaw & neck, and the internal chewing muscles, the tongue, oropharyngeal region and the palate. When not in the treatment room, Nicole enjoys beautiful BC by trail running, hiking or strolling in the forest or along the beach. Her commitment to whole body health includes running, Pilates, yoga and ELDOA practices and she’s always ready with healthy movement or rehab tips to empower her patients.

Dr. Tejinder K. Ghag is a licensed Naturopathic Physician who is passionate about hearing your unique health story and providing guidance. Dr. Ghag graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor in Health Sciences and later went on to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario where she received her Doctorate of Naturopathy.

A firm believer in individualized health, Dr. Ghag strives to identify the root causes of imbalance. Using a multidisciplined approach, she has a focus on digestive health, pain management and hormone imbalances.  

Dr. Ghag utilizes therapies including Botanical/Herbal Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, IMS, Cupping, Clinical Nutrition, Lifestyle Counseling, IV therapy and prolotherapy (coming soon!). She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Masters in Neuroscience. Dr. Jim was a member of Faculty and a Resource Clinician at CMCC. She has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals including Spine, Molecular Vision, and Molecular Brain Research.

She holds additional certifications in Active Release Therapy (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SMARTtools), Clinical Neurodynamics, and utilizes cupping therapy. Before her chiropractic training, Dr. Magpantay was studying at Simon Fraser University for her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology.

Dr. Stephen Mogatas graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as Students’ Council President and received numerous awards in recognition for his contributions to the college and the profession. Dr. Mogatas was the official chiropractor for Team Canada Ultimate and attended seven world championships, including the 2013 and 2017 World Games.

Her approach to massage therapy is simple: she aims to alleviate stress and tension from the body and values meaningful connection with her patients. She recognizes that touch can be a powerful tool in alleviating pain and discomfort, and she values communication and consent as the foundations of treatment.
